Bookworms & Book Butterflies - english version
Bookworms & Book Butterflies is a project aimed primarily at our youngest library members: teenagers, children, and their parents. Through activities that blend English language learning with literature, arts, fun, and games, we hope to help young bookworms spread their wings and transform into real book butterflies, fluttering around the world of texts with ever-growing curiosity.
The project involves three programmes for different age groups.
- Story Time!
Meetings for children aged 3-5 and their parents. Read-aloud sessions of stories in English featuring games and fun activities that engage all the senses.
When? Saturdays, 11 am (12 meetings)

- Comics Time
A series of workshops for kids and teens aged 9-12. In these classes, we learn how to tell stories through pictures, discover different comic styles, and improve our drawing techniques. We develop creativity and craft our own stories while practising English in a fun atmosphere.
When? Tuesdays, 5 pm (6 meetings)

- YAk Wam się podoba? Teen Book Club
An English-language book club for teens aged 12-15. We read Young Adult fiction, share our impressions, and explore stories in fun and creative ways. Join us to meet other keen readers and enjoy lively discussions in a relaxed environment.
When? Wednesdays, 5 pm (8 meetings)
Start: 9 September, 2024 (exceptionally on Monday!)

Registration for all the programmes starts on 30 August! On-site only!
